She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Thomas and Dollie Bell Clinkscales Thompson; her husband James Franklin Evans; her daughter Connie Evans Powell; and her siblings, Drucilla Taylor, Lawrence Junior Thompson, Helen Carnes, Ralph Daniel Thompson, Broadus Thompson and Otis Thompson.
She is survived by: her daughter Paddie; her sons-in-law, Rev. Ken Jackson of Eastanollee and Terry Powell of Toccoa; her grandchildren, Joshua, April Powell, Amanda Powell, Zach Powell and Matthew Jackson; her great grandchild Cooper James Powell; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Martin (John), Linda Walker (Roger) and Billy Evans. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
