He is survived by: his sister Irene Jesse Bell Welch; his daughter Mona; his son-in-law Scott Maxon of Winterville, GA; his grandsons, Alan Maxon, Steven Crowe and Henry Maxon; and his siblings, Roger Garrett and Joyce Marsden.
