It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin McGarvey Ballard of Toccoa, Georgia, who passed away on June 12, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Ballard and Lura McGarvey Ballard; and his sister Patricia Hokanson. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Eckman Ballard; his sister Clela Ballard; his children, Virginia Ballard Love, Jerry Ballard (Joni) and Allan Ballard (Robbin); and his stepchildren, Jonathan Eckman (April), Susanna Gailer (John), Deborah Knickerbocker (David) and Grace Miller (Eddie).
