She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James Monroe Adams; her mother Lucille Segars Banks Carter; her stepfather Kermit Carter; her daughter Shelia Bruns of Toccoa; her grandchildren, Anna of Lynchburg, Elizabeth of Lynchburg, Mark of Lynchburg, Leah of Lynchburg, Chloe of Lynchburg, Abigail of Lynchburg and Virginia; her great grandchildren, Luke, Semone Seavers of Hanahan, Andrew and Megan Seavers of North Charleston; her children, Bobby Adams of Toccoa and Samantha; her grandson Colton of Toccoa; her great grandchildren, Tristan, Trinity, Grace, Selah, Allie, Caleb, Clay and Ria; her half-sister Jean Banks Aldridge of Oregon; and also, Farris, Julia Carter, Edward, Linda Carter, Precious, John, Doris Adams of Toccoa, Bill and Peggy Adams of Little Rock. She was also cherished by siblings, her half-brother.
