She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur G. Westmoreland and Minnie Pannell Westmoreland; her son Rev. Ray Rumsey; her husband C. W. "Tut" Thomason; her son-in-law Colonel Jim Brinson; and her siblings, Melvin Westmoreland, Ondie Westmoreland, Lloyd Westmoreland, Eva Merck, Thomas Westmoreland, Bernice Westmoreland and Bea Phillips.
She is survived by: her daughter Pam; her son-in-law Wayne Phillips of Toccoa; her daughter Donna Brinson of Buford, Georgia; her stepson David Thomason of Toccoa; her grandchildren, Corey, Renee Phillips, Christopher Brinson, Kimberly Britton, Amanda and Hank Hanff; her great grandchildren, Harper Hanff, Charlie Britton, Jack Britton, Drew Britton, Paige Phillips, Molly Phillips and Ethan Phillips; and her sister-in-law Katherine Rumsey of Toccoa. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
