He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt Smith and Veneeta Whiten Smith; and his brothers, Forrest Smith, Bruce Smith, Roy Smith and Tyrus Smith.
He is survived by: his daughter Teresa; his son-in-law Kenneth Heaton of Eastanollee; his son Leon Junior; his daughter-in-law Lisa Smith of Toccoa; his grandchildren, Lee Woody (Brittany) and Melissa Davis (Alex); his great grandchildren, Carson, Emma, Avery, Sutton and Harrison; his siblings, Johnny (Jackie Smith), David (Gail Smith), Larry (Buena Smith), Glenda Kellett, Brenda Cobb and Connie (Cecil Nicholson); and his sisters-in-law, Doris Smith, Bonnie Smith and Yvonne Smith.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home (90 S Pond St, Toccoa, GA 30577). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location.
