She was predeceased by: her parents, Lamb Kesler and Frances "Fannie" Hancock Kesler; her husband Milton Bruce Skelton; and her sisters, Olivia Wright and Johnnie Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Bruce Skelton of Oxford, GA and Jane Skelton of Colorado; her grandson Sam Skelton; and her great grandchildren, Joseph Skelton, Jaden Skelton, Hallie Skelton and Sophia Skelton.
