With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Keranen (Toccoa, Georgia), born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on January 14, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Jabuiak and Elizabeth Mitchell Jabuiak; her child Michele Keranen; and her brother Charles Jakubiak. She is survived by: her children, Victor Keranen of Bremerton, WA, Astarte Keranen (Steve Hilderbrand), Konrad (Dana Keranen), Aline (Jeffery Taylor) and Reina Keranen of Myrtle Beach, SC. She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.

The family request that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Saint Mary's Catholic Church of Toccoa, 231 Rothell Road Extention, Toccoa, GA 30577; or to Focus on the Family, 8605 Explorer Drive Colorado Springs, CO 80920 (focusonthefamily.com).
