He was predeceased by: his parents, Toy Wheeler and Thelma Jarrett Wheeler; his son Devin Wheeler; and his sister Doris Mitchell. He is survived by: his children, Lavona Bridges of Toccoa, Ken Wheeler of Martin and Dale Wheeler of Gainesville; his stepchildren, Mark, Amanda Price of Toccoa, Marcus and Laura Segers of Wilmington; and his sister Julia LaCount of Toccoa. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
