It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorthie Jean Smith McCurry (Toccoa, Georgia), born in Stephens, Georgia, who passed away on November 3, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rance Smith and Ethel Holbrooks Smith; and her husband Leonard Douglas McCurry. She is survived by: her daughters, Reba McCurry of Toccoa and Regina McCurry of Toccoa; and her sisters, Mary Ruth Hall of Toccoa and Lucille Harmon of South Carolina. She is also survived by six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
