He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter B. Franklin, Sr. and Gladys English Franklin; his siblings, Louise Martin (Alvin), Lucille Morgan (Thomas), Betty Mazzei, Walter B. Franklin, Jr., Bobby Franklin (Joyce), Tommy Franklin and Lewis Franklin; and his stepson Joe McCurry.
He is survived by: his son Gregg; his daughter-in-law Heidi Franklin of Corona, California; his daughter Debra; his son-in-law Doug Bigham of Central Point, Oregon; and his stepdaughter Lyn (Tony Bolmon). He is also survived by four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
