He was predeceased by: his father Roy Lee Griffin. He is survived by: his mother Jean Fowler Griffin (Cindy Deason Griffin) of Toccoa; his children, Kevin (Stacy Griffin), Adam Griffin of Toccoa and Andrea Griffin; his grandchildren, Kameron Miller, Alexis Miller, Ashlyn Miller, Ava Griffin and Landyn Griffin; and his siblings, James Griffin of Toccoa, Cathy Ray of Toccoa, Karen Setren of Toccoa and Elisa Wilbanks of Toccoa.
