He was predeceased by: his grandmother Dorothy Maney; his great-grandparent Cleo Franklin; and his grandparents, Bobby and Louise Bales. He is survived by: his parents, Donald Bales and Robin Ann Maney of Toccoa; his son Haydan Bales of Toccoa; his brother Carey; his sister-in-law Tracy Maney of Dawsonville; and his grandfather James Maney of Clarkesville. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
