She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Earl Ludwig, Sr. and Hazel Fennel Ludwig; her husband Ronny Petty; her brother Raymond "Ray" Earl Ludwig, Jr.; and her great grandchild Kaelynn Goodson.
She is survived by: her children, Serena Goodson of Homer, Georgia and Ronny Goodson of Lavonia, Georgia; her siblings, Linda Sullins of Cornelia, Cathy Dodd of Hartwell, Georgia and Roger Dale Ludwig of Hartwell, Georgia; her granddaughter Missi Sanderson; and her great grandchildren, Brinlee, Addilynn and Ryleigh Goodson.
