It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claudia Hamby (Toccoa, Georgia), born in Martin, Georgia, who passed away on September 9, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Slater and Vera Mae Slater; and her siblings, Lou Edna Ginn, ReVonda Decker and Herman Slater.
She is survived by: her husband Cecil B. Hamby; her daughter LaDawn Jones (Bill); her grandsons, Peyton and Greyson Jones; and her siblings, Frank Slater (Judy) and Daimy Keese (John).
