He was predeceased by: his parents, Cord Cothren and Hazel Henson Cothren; and his son Jason Leon Claude Cothren. He is survived by: his son Josh Cothren of Toccoa; his wife Polly Jo Cothren of Toccoa; his brothers, Jerry Cothren of Hiawassee and Clifton Cothren of Young Harris; his brothers-in-law, Anna Brown of Blairsville, Aletta Woods, Dale Woods of Hiawassee, Florence Wallace, Shelton Wallace of Blairsville, Millie Arrowood and Danny Arrowood of Blairsville; and his grandson Devon White Holland.
