It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlie Cecil Elrod (Toccoa, Georgia), who passed away on April 4, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Elrod and Emma Belle Smith Elrod; his siblings, Martha "Geraldine" Elrod and Sam Jerome Elrod; and his sister-in-law Bertha McCallister Elrod.
He is survived by: his wife Dora Westbrook Cheek Elrod; his daughters, Trena Elrod (Keith Farmer) of Toccoa, Lisa Elrod Watson (Philip) of Simpsonville and Ginger "Gigi" Elrod Duncan (Tommy) of Westminster; his stepchildren, Pam Cheek Jones (Greg) of Toccoa, Georgia and Steve Cheek (Karen) of Toccoa, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Matthew Watson, Kristen Watson, Jessica Bohannon (Josh), Erica Smith (Jon), Megan Cheek and Emily Cheek. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
