He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Clarence McCollum and Modena Garland McCollum; his wife Kathy Seay McCollum; his brother William Robert McCollum; and his grandson Devon McCollum.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin McCollum of Toccoa, Nicole McCollum of Toccoa and Rhonda McCollum Williams of Hall County; his grandchildren, Jaedon Williams, Blake McCollum, Zachary McCollum, Mason Williams and Katherine McCollum; and his sisters, Shirley (Robert Neal), Vickey Ragsdale and Jeanette Jamieson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to the conditions concerning the health and well-being of our community, social distancing will be observed. Those attending the service are encouraged to wear a mask.
