We bid farewell to Cecile Christine Mize of Toccoa, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 6, 2024 at the age of 84. Cecile Christine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean Wantz and Marie Christine Wantz; and her siblings, Theo, Jean-Pierre Wantz and Marguerite Kirsch.
She is survived by: her daughters, Yvette Parkhurst and Darlene Snyder; her son-in-law Darrell Snyder; her grandchildren, Dalton, Olivia Snyder, Dustin Snyder, Wesley, McKenzie Phillips II, Chelsea, Farid Alhamwi, Bailey Blake and Tatiana Parkhurst; her great grandchildren, Wesley Phillips III, Laith Alhamwi, Ellie Blake, Kolea Blake and Kai Alexander; her brother Henri Wantz (Helga); and her siblings-in-law, Rene Kirsch and Renee Wantz.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (231 Rothell Rd, Toccoa, GA 30577).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, 231 Rothell Road Extension, Toccoa, Georgia 30577 or Memorials Processing, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105-9959 in memory of Cecile C. Mize.
