She was predeceased by: her parents, W. P. Reed and Sarah Scroggs Reed; her husband Burlon Couch; and her daughter Carol Ann Couch. She is survived by: her daughter Marsha; her son-in-law Dennis Geary; her sister Vivian; her brother-in-law Joe Conner; and her sister Hazel Smith.
