She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvel George Jameson, Sr. and Blanche Burrell Jameson; her siblings, Patty Sue Mercier (Ambrose) and Junior Jameson; and her brother-in-law William Sheriff.
She is survived by: her husband James Maxwell; her daughter Denise Stancil; her son-in-law Deron Stancil; her granddaughter Lauren Stancil (Dawson Wheeler); and her sister Linda Sheriff. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and their children.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Stephens Memorial Gardens (3650 GA-17, Toccoa, GA 30577).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Shiloh Baptist Church, P.O. Box 638, Toccoa, Georgia 30577 in memory of Betty Jameson Maxwell.
