She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald William McCombs and Regina Lee Purks McCombs; and her husband Herman Muns Watson, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Theresa Watson Kelley of Toccoa, William Dale Watson (Carla), James Edward Watson (Lisa) and Stephen Christopher Watson of Toccoa; her siblings, Dorothy McGill, Sharon McCombs and John McCombs; and her siblings-in-law, Janice Watson Jones and Barry Watson (Barbara). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Whitlock Mortuary, Inc. (120 Rose Ln, Toccoa, GA 30577). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Saint Mary's Catholic Church (231 Rothell Rd Exd, Toccoa, GA 30577). An entombment was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at the Stephens Memorial Gardens (3650 GA-17, Toccoa, GA 30577).
