It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Farmer Barfield of Toccoa, Georgia, who passed away on November 12, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Calloway Farmer and Essie Palmer Farmer; her husband Bernard Hugh Barfield; her siblings, J. C. Farmer, Jerry Farmer, Sam Farmer, Madilene Parson and Barbara Sue Farmer; and her grandson Brady Parson.
She is survived by: her daughter Janice; her son-in-law Maurice Hicks of Toccoa; her sons, Dennis Parson of Toccoa, Michael (Carol Parson) and Clint (Loretta Parson); and her stepdaughters, Debra Graham of Fargo, Laura Sivertson of Jacksonville, Florida, Brenda Booth of Jacksonville, Florida and Linda Poliquin of Jacksonville, Florida. She is also survived by twenty one grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
