He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Lee Fatherree, Sr. and Altie Gates Fatherree; his wife Donna Smith Fatherree; his parents-in-law, Dwain and Marie Caudell; his sister-in-law Lisa Caudell Westmoreland (Don); and his friend Larry Taylor.
He is survived by: his son Albert Lee Fatherree III; his grandchildren, Kerry Fatherree Tripp (Robert), Devin Fatherree (Allison), Emily Fatherree Francis (Josh), Andrew Tripp and Ashley Tripp; his great grandchildren, Lyla, Indie, Beau Fatherree and Baby Boy Francis; his sister Betty Quave (David); his daughter-in-law Patti Fatherree; his siblings-in-law, Jane Burdette (Rodney) of Toccoa and Steve Caudell of Toccoa; his friends, Bill Russell and Jim Shupe; and also Lori Caudell Fatherree. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:50 AM. A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain Home National Cemetery. A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Central Baptist Church.
