He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Marshall Smith and Louise Fanning Brown Smith of Tignall. He is survived by: his sons, Eric J. Smith (Jamie) of Santa Maria, CA and Gary A. Smith (Victoria) of San Jose, CA; his grandchildren, Jacob Smith, Hope Smith Ashlock, Samantha Smith and Justin Smith; and his brothers, Charles M. Smith of Sandtown, Morgan E. Smith (Sandra) of Hiawassee and Graham Y. Smith (Glenda) of Snellville. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews, and many valued friends.
