He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah Ray Barker and Maggie Lein Barker; and his siblings, Eddie Barker, Wilburn Barker and Betty Moses.
He is survived by: his children, Gayle Barker, Crystal Cox of Tignall, GA, Angie Chambers (Tim), Lynn Dills (Mike), Harold Barker, Jr. (Lynn) of Waynesville, NC, Leslie Dills (John Mathis) of Washington, GA, Billy Barker (Diann) of Sylva, NC, Ben Barker of Candler, NC and Bryan Rogers (Crystal) of Crawfordville, GA.; and his sister Dearlean Rogers (Kenny) of Tignall, GA. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Life Ministries (808 E Robert Toombs Ave, Washington, GA 30673). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery (1995 Broad Rd, Tignall, GA 30668).
