He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray McClain and Rosa Bleckley McClain; his wife Celia McClain; and his children, Rebecca McClain and Steve McClain.

He is survived by: his children, Stanley McClain, Jeff McClain (Rhonda McClain), Sylvia Lord (Gary Roach), Cindy Huff and Sonya McClain (Scott Newton); and his brother Zane McClain. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

The family asks that donations may be made to Tiger Baptist Church Po Box 142 Tiger, GA 30576.
