With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shirley Jean Ramey of Tiger, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Raeburn Wells and Marjorie Aydt Wells; her sons, Bobby Jr. and Marty Ramey; and her siblings-in-law, Brian Welch and Claudia Wells.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Robert Ramey; and her children, Marjorie Johnson Zaharko (Alan) of Savannah, GA, Diane Steele (Nick), Lisa Almzan (Carlos) of Clayton, GA, Stephen Ramey (Angela) of Midland, GA, Mike Ramey, Tommy Ramey (Becky), Wayne Ramey (Christy) of Clayton, GA and Jimmy Ramey (Amber) of Otto, NC. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rocky Grove Baptist Church (6900 Bridge Creek Rd, Tiger, GA 30576). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at the Rocky Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (6802 Bridge Creek Rd, Tiger, GA 30576).
