She was predeceased by: her parents, James Nichols and Corine Forester Lunsford Nichols; her husband Wade Lester Murphy; and her stepfather Willard "Short" Lunsford. She is survived by: her children, Jason Murphy and Deana Murphy Dunn (Tim); and her half-sister Judy Lunsford Nichols. She is also survived by child, "Penny"(her dog) and has many cousins, nieces and nephews.
