He is survived by: his wife Patsy Mitcham; his children, Robert Mitcham Jr., Karen Mitcham, Kiley Houston (Michael) and Dalton Mitcham; his grandchildren, Christina Rogers (James), Jennifer Gantt (William), R. J. Mitcham, Lauren and Nolan Houston; and his great grandchild Davie Gantt.
