He was predeceased by: his grandfather Manuel Yepez. He is survived by: his parents, Raul Frias and Mercedes Yepez; his sister Leonela Frias; his grandparents, Ramon Frias, Benita Frias, Lourdes Ortega and Antonio Yepez; and his aunts and uncles, Sergio Espitia, Jose Renteria, Adolfo Vargas, Juan Carlos, Jesus Frias, Irene Yepez, Godeleva Yepez, Josefina Yepez, Magdelena Yepez and Adriana Gagsca.
