She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jesse Smith and Maude Jones Smith; her husband Ralph Pickens; her daughter Krystal Dawn Pickens; and her siblings, Garth Smith, Garfield Smith, Garland Smith, Myles Smith, David Smith (Sandy), Lorraine Carpenter, Margie Chappell, Ellaine Chappell and Barbara Dodson.
She is survived by: her children, Eric Pickens (Lynn) and Holly Pickens; her sister Evelyn Scarnato; and her granddaughter Gracie Pickens. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
