She was predeceased by: her parents, John McCord, Sr. and Lawson McAfee McCord; her husband Leon Brown; and her sister Lawson McCord Hill. She is survived by: her children, John Brown (Andrea) of Clyde, Julie Harris (Trent) and Jessica Shirley (Bryan) of Clayton, Georgia; her stepson Dave Bortner (Regina) of Ruckersville, Virginia; her brothers, John McCord, Sr. of Macon and Fred McCord of South Carolina; her sister-in-law Sherrie Crone of Clayton, Georgia.; and her grandchildren, Haleigh Pruitt, Matthew Shirley, Emileigh Pruitt, Maizie Shirley, Chloe Brown, Ryleigh Pruitt, Lily Ellison, Andrew Barbour, Aiden Barbour, Destini Bortner, Diamond Bortner, Colton Buchanan and Casey Buchanan.

Visitation service will be March 4, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, Covid restrictions will apply with a limited number allowed in the building at one time per requirements use of face masks will be required to enter the Building.
