We are sad to announce that on June 20, 2022, Willis Henry Dowdy of Tifton, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe D. Dowdy and Annie Belle Baker Dowdy; and his siblings, Mark Dowdy, E. B. Dowdy, Otis Dowdy, Lunie Dowdy, Ola Mae Dowdy and Dollie Bernice Dowdy McSwain.

He is survived by: his wife Carlene Purvis Dowdy of Tifton; his children, Ricky Dowdy of Tifton and Kathy Ann; his son-in-law Freddy Kearse of Morven; and his grandson Jeremy Kearse of Morven. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts may be made to a favorite charity.
