It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Sumner Jr. of Tifton, Georgia, who passed away on January 28, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tomy Watson Sumner and Rinnie Thompson Sumner; his wives, Pearlie Jane Sumner and Alma Jean Sumner; and his sister Lillian Fletcher.
He is survived by: his children, William James "Jimmy" Jr. (Darlene Sumner), Tommy Watson (Sarah Sumner), Mike Anthony (Rhonda Sumner) and Virginia Mae Sumner of Tifton; his sisters, Peggy Busbin of Tifton and Nellie Jo; and his brother-in-law Donald Franks of Conyers. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.
Covid-19 guidelines will be observed during the visitation.
