He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rigdon and Mary Emma Terry Rigdon; his siblings, Evelyn Mims, Grady Rigdon and Nick Rigdon; and his son-in-law John McCall.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Cottle Rigdon of Tifton; his daughters, Betty McCall of Rochelle, Carol and Dozier Rowe of Bogart; his sons-in-law, Gail and Jeff Bemis of Conyers; his son Bill; his daughter-in-law Suzanne Rigdon of Alpharetta; his brother Sam; his sister-in-law Carol Rigdon of Buena Vista; and his grandchildren, Mark (Brandi McCall), David (Christy McCall), Haley (Robert Rodgers), Rachael (Ryan Becker), Laura (Brandon Fenton), EmilyAnn (Chris Williams), Daniel Bemis, Matthew (Kayla Bemis), William (Collins Rigdon), Catherine (Katie Rigdon) and Max Roberts (Alyson Roberts). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
