He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob McMahan and Anna Harlan McMahan; his son William Patrick "Pat" McMahan; his granddaughter Brandy McMahan; his daughter-in-law Donna McCray McMahan; and his siblings, Mary Knot, Henry McMahan, Robert McMahan and Joe McMahan.
He is survived by: his wife Melba Harrell McMahan; his children, Scott McMahan of Warwick and Shari; his son-in-law Lyn Powell of Tifton; his grandchildren, Lauren Duncan, Sean McMahan, Brandon, Brittany Powell, Andrew Powell, Shane Powell, Lacey Powell, Mandy Brown, Haley, Josh Davidson, David and Kayla McMahan; his brother Jacob McMahan of Mt. Washington, KY.; and also Tony McMahan. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
