He is survived by: his wife Acenet Ortega Lane of Tifton; his children, Maria Wells of Chula, Cylinda Lane of Chula and William Leroy Lane, Jr. of Tifton; his sons-in-law, Jim Wells of Chula and Charles Glisson of Valdosta; his grandchildren, Christian Glisson, Sr., Cole Glisson, Candler Glisson, Jessica Wells, Josh Wells and Justin Wells; and his great grandchild Christian "C. J.".
