It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Earl Cook in Tifton, Georgia, who passed away on November 26, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Wade Cook and Myrtis Ruth Turner Cook; his sisters, Anne Fletcher and Lana Pratt; and his brothers-in-law, Mike Collins and Kenneth Fletcher.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Greene; his children, Ronald (Angie), Angie (Mike Crumley) and Deborah Cook; his grandchildren, Matthew Crumley, Jared Cook (Madison McGhee) and Ivey Cook; his siblings, Skeeter Cook (Teresa) and Peggy Collins; and his brother-in-law Lewis Pratt. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Albritton Funeral Directors (1020 Tift Ave N, Tifton, GA 31794). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Harding Methodist Church Cemetery (924 Wiley Branch Rd, Tifton, GA 31794).
