She was predeceased by: her father Bunk Goodson; her husband J. L. Parrish; her son Keith Parrish; and her siblings, Louise Goodson Cole, Buford Goodson, Paul Goodson and Jerome Goodson.
She is survived by: her son Carey Parrish (Carla) of Alapaha, Georgia; her daughter-in-law Debbie Parrish of High Point; and her grandchildren, Sarah Parrish, Karen Parrish Somday (Ken), Matthew Parrish (Michaelanne), Jacob Parrish, Jason Parrish (Brittany) and Brian Parrish. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
