He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Johnson and Minnie Kate Carr Johnson; and his son Craig Lewis Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Conley Johnson of Tifton; his son Jamie; his daughter-in-law Tammy Dillard of Tifton; his daughters, Shannon (Bruce Giddens) of Tifton, Tonia (Tim Carpenter) of Tifton and Mendy Dillard of Tifton; his grandchildren, James (Chelsea Dillard), Jessica (Justin Hayles), Justin (Chelsea Hasty), Kelly (Lucas Hand), Daniel (Tiffany Lamb), Kinsley Giddens (Tori), Nick Hargett (Jacob Giddens), Jenna Giddens (Katie LeeAnn), Griffin Martin (T. J. Carpenter) and Christine Carpenter (Britt Rivenbark); and also, Chandler Dillard, Brynton Hayles, Trace Hayles, Barrett Hand, Breanna Lamb, Braylee Lamb, Champ Lamb, John Hargett and Jennie Claire Martin.
