She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Ford and Vivian Hand Hawkins; her husband Jesse Allen Walker; and her siblings, Leon Ford and Murl Ford.
She is survived by: her son R. A. (Sonny); her daughter-in-law Vickie Walker of Hahira; her daughter Sloan; her son-in-law Steve Bland of Terre Haute, Indiana; her grandchildren, Kimberly, Richard Corenflos, Simone, Tim Thompson, Sonnie Ann, David Martin and Joshua Bland (Rocio Arias); and her sister Margaret Ford Demott of Albany. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.
