It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommie Day Smith of Tifton, Georgia, who passed away on February 27, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Haskell Smith and Lucille Strickland Smith; and his brother Danny Ray Smith. He is survived by: his wife Mattie Jewel Metts Smith of Tifton; his sons, Dewey Smith of Rebecca and Jerry Day; his daughter-in-law Beki Smith of Irwinville; and his grandchildren, Shelbi Hollingsworth and Laken Smith.
