Sylvia Maureen Goff Dixon Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2024, at the age of 84, Sylvia Maureen Goff Dixon (Tifton, Georgia), born in Ocilla, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Bronzal Franklin Dixon, Sr.; her son Bronzal Franklin Dixon, Jr.; her granddaughter Danielle Dixon Flanders; her parents, Levy Goff and Rebecca Capps Goff; and her siblings, June Goff, David Goff and Morris Goff.

She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa (Ron Myers), Judy (Michael Rodriguez) and Kristy (Dewayne Franks); her grandchildren, Tim Whittington, Kyle Whittington, Rebecca Marshall, Jimmi King, Jonas Gardner, Trevor Gardner, Claire Franks, Rachel Franks and Drue Dixon; and her siblings, Joyce Holton and Johnny M. Goff.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Albritton Funeral Directors (1020 Tift Ave N, Tifton, GA 31794). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 at the Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Before Alzheimer's disease altered the course of her life, Sylvia was known for her hard work and dedication.
