He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Plunkett Lyon and Dorothy Taber Lyon. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Sisk Lyon of Tifton; his children, Jeremy (Kayla Lyon), Jeffrey (Brandi Lyon), Joshua Lyon, Jennifer (Michael Stevenson), Jessica Stanfield and Jodi (Kim Griffin); his sister Susan; his brother-in-law Barry McCullough; and his grandchildren, Christopher Stevenson, Zachery Lyon, Ashley Stanfield, Autumn Fogarty, Gavin Fogarty, Zackary Cospelich, Hannah Fallin, Anyston Lyon, Paxton Lyon and Parker Lyon. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
