With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel Harris of Tifton, Georgia, born in Edison, Georgia, who passed away on August 5, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Tollie Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Della Faye Cone Harris of Tifton; his children, David Eugene (April Harris), Samuel Keith Harris of Albany, Melissa Gay (Glenn Lasseter), Melinda Kay (John Sullivan) and Debra Jean (David Pearson); and his siblings, Ava Dale Norred of Phoenix City, AL, Tollie Franklin Harris, Jr. of Brunswick, Harvey Harris of Orlando, FL and Billy Joe Harris of Tifton, GA.. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Emanuel Baptist Church, 1208 Ferry Lake Road, Tifton, GA 3179.
