He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Theodore Dawson and Ruth A. Davis Dawson. He is survived by: his wife Jerrie Jeanete Evans Dawson; his son Gary Brent Dawson of Santa Rosa, CA; and his granddaughters, Jessica and Jeannette Smith.
