He was predeceased by: his parents, Loomis Ulric "L. U." McBrayer and Nina Belle Arrington McBrayer; his siblings, Hubert McBrayer, Clyde McBrayer, Thomas Elbert McBrayer, Melvin McBrayer, Glan McBrayer, Lloyd McBrayer and Katherine Arnold; and his son-in-law David Hanner.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Bobbie Garrett McBrayer of Tifton; his son Scott; his daughter-in-law Debbie McBrayer of Ashburn; his daughters, Kim Hanner of Ashburn and Jan; his son-in-law Ray Zorn of Rebecca; his siblings, Troy McBrayer of Tifton, Louise Smith of Cairo and Faye Roberts of Tifton; his grandchildren, Justin Hanner, Jordan Hanner, Erica Day, Courtney Branch, Abbie Borem and Ethan McBrayer; and his great grandchildren, Mayghan Hanner, Garrett Hanner, Hudson Hanner, Peyton Hanner, Evie Day, Sam Day, Bella Day and Willow Branch.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 15th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Pineview Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery (404 Love Ave, Tifton, GA 31794).
