He is survived by: his daughter Tracy Whitesides; his son-in-law Lee of Tifton; his grandsons, Ches Whitesides of Atlanta and Clay Whitesides (Lakin) of Jefferson, Georgia; his great grandchild Bryn Whitesides; and his caregivers, Janice Pearson, Denise Webb, Faye Hall and Brenda Lawson.
