He is survived by: his children, Kevin Johnson (Stephanie), Kenny Simmons (Christina), Kathy Lynn Sims, Kelly Burke (Keith) and Pam Gortt Brown (Floyd); his grandchildren, Katelyn Simmons, Trey Summerlin, Sidney Sims, Alyssa Sims, Meagan Sims, Tristen Burke, Dillon Burke, Kayla Burke, Miguel Arguelles, Ali Pelt, Brooke Goree, Zach Johnson, Micheala Johnson, Jr., Kris Wilson, Patrick Andrews, Franklin Simmons and Amanda Simmons; and his sisters, Joy Washburn, Janet Merritt and Peggy Hudson Whittaker. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
